SomaSolidarity
Where body, soul, and presence become one
Somatic Bodywork, Coaching, Development, and Practice Groups
In-person and online offerings in the Portland Metro/Willamette Valley area
What if the key to unlocking energy, connection, possibility, and ease
is not in your mind, but in your soma?
Come home to yourself, your purpose, your power
and meet the moment
Like water, we are meant to flow.
Like jellyfish, we are carried by unseen currents.
Strength lives in softness, resilience in yielding.
SomaSolidarity is the feeling of being at home in your body, mind, and soul.
Open, connected, and alive.
It is moving with grace instead of force,
Trusting your body’s wisdom,
and remembering that healing ripples outward.
When we return to this flow, personal restoration becomes collective possibility.
Welcome, I’m Dana Brenner.
I am a somatic practitioner who guides and provides bodywork, coaching, healing, group development, and practice. The work I do is both skill-based and intuitive. It’s rooted in neuroscience, deep listening, and a depth and breadth of distinctive experience.
I support people to come home to themselves: to their purpose, their wisdom, their gifts, their communities. This happens through the body, through awakening and awareness, through re-forming and intentional practice.
Do you long to develop your capacity to embody what you care about, take centered and grounded action, feel resourced, resilient, and at ease? Maybe you’d like to develop deeper intimacy with yourself and others? You seek to make a difference in how you show up in the world. If so, you are in the right place.
The work I do
is at the intersections of somatics, bodywork, coaching, counseling, healing, leadership, teaching, community building, meditation, mindfulness, intuition, and spiritual practice.
The work we do together
is trauma-informed and transformational. It leads to living with greater purpose, agency, and aliveness. As we are shaped by context and experience, we wisely develop responsive and reactive strategies and patterns that both serve us and get in our way. These patterns live in our thinking, nervous systems, muscles, tissues, actions, and the words we use. Through somatics, we foster awareness and presence, invite openings, and build practices that create new patterns to enhance agency, create shift, and catalyze change.
We might work with breath and techniques for nervous system and energy regulation, use touch to shift tissues and muscles on a massage table to inviting release and opening, or engage in conversation and practices to connect somatics to your real-life challenges and goals. I bring over 30 years of broad, deep, distinctive, and unique experience and training. When people leave a session or workshop, they often say things like “that was good magic”.
