Practicing Presence

Explore how you can meet life with greater capacity and resilience (rather than trying to escape discomfort and force calm).

Most people give up on meditating because they don't receive pragmatic and authentic instruction that supports self-sustaining practice and embodied spiritual insight. In a world of commoditized "McMindfulness", the value is often lost, misapplied, and misunderstood. Taught as a half-day workshop or 8-session class, you will learn and experience the foundational principles and practices of meditation, mindfulness, and somatics.

In 2026, the half-day workshop format is offered in-person on 5/19, and 9/19 (in Wilsonville).

Why Learn, Develop, & Practice Together?

Sometimes the deepest growth happens in the presence of others. Developing skills and capabilities collectively can magnify insight, energy, and ideas. Peer support and learning creates community, deepens insight, and enhances our sense of connection with something greater than ourselves.

These options can be more cost-effective than 1:1 work, can be accessed either online or in-person, and may offer both live and asynchronous learning- making them flexible, accessible, and more schedule-friendly.

Programs can be designed to include peer collaborative learning outside of the group experiences, enhancing value on multiple levels.

Whether it’s a practice group, a class, a workshop, or a program, developing in a group can be powerful.
