Hold More/Carry Less
Gather & Ground builds our capacity both individually and collectively to Hold More & Carry Less. This third and last section of a three part series based on Francis Weller’s book The Wild Edge of Sorrow, is focused on 2 of the 5 common pathways that grief enters our lives-The Sorrows of the World and Ancestral Grief.
Each gathering is 2.5 hours long, and the program is capped at 8 people. Meeting bi-weekly April to mid-June, we use journaling, dialogue, somatic practices, guided meditation, ceremony, art, and the exploration of frameworks to understand both the wisdom and cost of our natural adaptations to a society that is hurting, in a container of healing that is both personal and collective.
That which has closed us off, shut us down, and dampened our aliveness is recognized, reckoned with, and offered alternatives. This program cultivates greater capacity for joy, agency, and care for ourselves, for others, and for the world we belong to.
